Overview
This workshop will focus on the prevalence and impact of pre-analytical errors (e.g., hemolysis, micro-clots) in point-of-care (POC) blood gas testing. The unique challenges of preanalytical errors in the neonatal intensive care unit will be discussed and strategies to address them reviewed. Additionally, strategies and tools to ensure continuous quality will be covered.
